The Sport cooling case can be powered from the iPad directly or via a USB-C power source which powers the fan and charges the iPad. A fully charged iPad can power the Cool Case for about 3–5 hours in direct sunlight. Pilots have the option to either mounting the Sports Cool Case in the cockpit or wearing it as a kneepad.
