Comant CI 2480-200 ComDat VHF/GPS ComDat Antenna
Comant's CI 2480-200 antenna combines both GPS and VHF functions in a single footprint. It features a 4-hole mounting pattern with the same dimension as popular VHF antennas and provides a TNC connection for GPS and a BNC connection for VHF. While providing 80 dB of VHF harmonic suppression, the CI 2480-200 allows for VHF and GPS operation in one radome without the installation of in-line filters.
The CI 2480-200 antenna has a “drop-in” replacement design for common, single-engine aircraft including Cessna, Mooney, and Piper that have a teardrop footprint, it also works with popular 26.5 dB gain GPS panel mount systems. The patented design is also perfect for helicopter applications and is tested under the toughest RTCA DO-160D environmental conditions.
